T
he beginning of this spring semester has
certainly flown by for sisters of Alabama
Beta! With the start of a new year, we are focused
on fostering an increased presence on campus
and throughout the Panhellenic community.
We plan on taking advantage of the many
extracurricular and philanthropic opportunities
the university and our fraternity and sorority
community offers!

As the new chapter house is in the building
stages, we are still located in our modular unit
on campus. The chapter members have fully
embraced this new "home" and are eagerly
awaiting the groundbreaking of our new home
this coming december.

In early February, we initiated five new
Members into our sisterhood. We are excited to
see what they will bring to the chapter. As we
will still be in our modular unit in the fall, we are
thrilled that we have been given the opportunity
to host formal recruitment in Bryant-denny
Stadium this August for a second year. We truly
enjoyed our time in the stadium last year, and we
are ecstatic to be back there again!
We thank our alumnae, our advisors and
The University of Alabama for supporting
our chapter each year, and we hope we
can continue to count on your support. We
invite alumnae and friends to come by the
Pi Beta Phi house anytime—we would love
to have you! Our sisterhood is growing in
size and strength, and we look forward to the
accomplishments and friendships that will be
made in the coming years.
Yours in Pi Phi,
Cathleen Thomas '14
