The walls of the basement are poured, all of the rooms are laid out and wiring is beginning. Work has begun on the first, second and third floors, and walls will begin going up soon on those floors. The beginning of the grand staircase is also underway. We are excited to continue sharing updates with you as Alabama Beta's new home is completed. Sorority life at The University of Alabama is continuing to change rapidly and the support of our alumnae is more important than ever as we work to preserve Alabama Beta's legacy. Chapter House Corporation is always looking for more "angels" to lend their talent, treasures and time as we continue building a beautiful new home. T hough they may not be living in the chapter house, members are hard at work hitting the books this spring. executive Council is working especially hard to give Alabama Beta a fabulous semester and we are so proud of them! ExECuTivE CounCiL SETS GoaLS On January 20, the executive Council, their Alumnae Advisory Committee (AAC) counterparts and Committee Chairmen convened at the modular unit for an opportunity to set goals for the chapter and to become familiar with one another. One of the new goals is to keep the chapter morale high as the new house is being built, as well as to revamp our social media. SprinG SEMESTEr Fun Alabama Beta hosted the Beaux and Arrows formal on Saturday, February 18. We could not have been more excited! The bash took place at the beautiful, historic drish House in Tuscaloosa. You can see photos from the event on Pages 3-4.
