Sometimes we look at issues in our lives as too overwhelming to get over. Debt, troubled relationships, weight issues can all seem like they are problems that we have to get rid of in order to get ahead in life. The fact is that often times we need to worry less about removing the issues from our life and focus on overcoming the issues from our life. Imagine your child coming to you at age sixteen saying "Dad, I want a race car." You would laugh at them and say something to the effect that they need to learn to drive a regular car and then they can think about the realities of trading up. Much is the same with your life. If you can’t manage the circum- stance that you have now, you cer- tainly aren’t ready for the things you are hoping and praying to have. If you are seriously in debt, using credit cards for things you don’t need and making poor financial decisions, you are certainly not ready to win the lottery you keep playing. Imagine paying off the bills living high on the hog for a few years and, before you know it, it is all gone because you never learned the money management skills you needed. If you are seriously overweight and you have surgery, use diet pills, or another form of weight management that doesn’t include a psychological makeover, you are most likely inviting a disastrous rendezvous with destiny down the road, heavier than you ever were before. If you ditch this guy or that girl because you are sure that they are the reason you are so miserable and you do not look within to verify if you need to make some changes, your next relationship will start to look as bad as your current one. You have got to learn to over- come your issues in order to master what it is you think you want to be, do or have. Faydra Rector Life Coach become more valuable.
