Last fall, we were paired with the men of
FarmHouse for Homecoming. Through all the
work and time we put in, Homecoming was
successful. It was a great experience getting
to know the other Greek members at Mizzou
better. Near the end of the semester, our women
participated in Girls on the Run. We had coaches,
running buddies, and cheerleaders there. It was a
rewarding experience getting to see the smile on
the girls' faces when they crossed the finish line.
In February, we participated in a fundraiser called
RAMS (Rocking Against Multiple Sclerosis).
Our women collected cans, performed a skit, and
raised money for a great cause. Right before the
beginning of this semester, I was fortunate enough
to go to the Greek Leadership retreat held at the
university. The new executive board recently
returned from our Real Leadership Conference
in Chicago. We all had an amazing time getting
to know Gamma Phi Betas in our region and our
neighboring regions.

Last fall, we hosted a family weekend tailgate. Our
chef, Sarah, cooked hot dogs and hamburgers, and
our families were able to take a look around the
house. We also had Dad's Weekend. We rented out
the Heidlberg restaurant, where we ate and enjoyed
each other's company. It was great having some
father-daughter time! April 7-9, we will be hosting
Mom's Weekend. We will be having vendors,
brunch, and renting out a winery in Columbia. A
new event we are creating this year is an alumnae
Easter egg hunt. We will be inviting alumnae and
their children to join us in an Easter egg hunt
around the house. The date is to be announced;
however, we are hoping to do it sometime in April.
If you are interested in details, please e-mail me
at the address below. We hope you will join us in
celebrating this season while giving your children
a fun activity in which to participate!
After having a great semester filled with laughter,
activities, and sisterhood, we are ready to take
on this year stronger than ever. Through our new
mentoring education program and our multiple
philanthropic events, the women here are excited
to be busy! We thank you for your countless
amounts of support and love. Alpha Delta only
hopes to make you proud. Please feel free to stop
by the house anytime. We hope to see you all at
the 808 this semester!
