The online conver- sations continued, and the defendant sent pictures of his genitals and told her to "trust" him and that she would be "satisfied and then some." They agreed to meet at the TRAX Station in Red Bluff on Dec. 7, 2017. When the defendant arrived at the TRAX Station, he was promptly arrested by in- vestigators. At one point, the de- fendant's sister pulled out a knife and held it in an ag- gressive manner with the blade pointed at the vic- tim and his wife. The vic- tim retrieved a .40 caliber pistol from his holster and again yelled for the group to get off his property. As the group began to back off, the victim kept the pistol at a low-ready position and walked backwards, along with his wife, towards his front door. When the vic- tim got approximately two feet from entering his res- idence, the defendant ran up to him in an aggressive manner and threatened to assault him. The victim yelled for the defendant to leave and pointed the pis- tol in his direction. The vic- tim then observed the de- fendant's sister charge at him, from approximately 10 feet away, with the knife still in her right hand. As the defendant's sister got within six feet of the vic- tim, the victim fired three rounds and observed her fall to the ground. The de- fendant then came towards victim yelling, "I am going to kill you, you are a dead man." The defendant con- tinued threatening the vic- tim even after police ar- rived on scene and had to be physically restrained. The defendant admitted to officers that he threatened to harm the victim.
