I knew him from "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "Twin Peaks," but what other television series did he do? — Bob Schaffer, via e-mail A : The son of Rosemary Clooney and José Ferrer, and cousin of George Cloo- ney, did much home-screen work over the course of his career. It dated back to his first professional credit — an episode of "Magnum, p.i." — and continued with roles on segments of "CHiPs," "Cag- ney & Lacey," "Hill Street Blues," "T.J. Hooker" and (in multiple roles) "Trapper John, M.D." and "Miami Vice." Then came Ferrer's first continuing series role as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield on the legendary "Twin Peaks" (he's also seen in the up- coming Showtime revival) ... followed by regular spots on "Shannon's Deal," "Broken Badges," "On the Air," "Late- Line," "Crossing Jordan," the 2007 reboot of "Bionic Woman," "The Protector," "Desperate Housewives" and "Young Justice." Ferrer joined "NCIS: Los Angeles" in 2012 and continued to work on that show virtually until his death, reportedly at his insistence.
