The Alpha Betas before us made it possible for us to have this experience, and now it is our turn to secure the legacy of our chapter. Your participation is absolutely vital to the continued success of Alpha Beta. Your investment in the future of Alpha Beta Chapter will ensure the success of our chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater sisterhood. With your support, this legacy will continue to provide a quality living-learning environment that supports, nurtures, and develops outstanding young women with the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. The commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Alpha Beta sisters for years to come. Giving Plan The Phi Mu alumnae leadership is committed to this major undertaking, and we are urging every alumna to consider a major gift to the campaign. Gifts can be made over a five-year pledge period. They can also be made in honor or in memory of other Phi Mu sisters. In such cases, recognition will be made to both the donor and the honoree. Donor Recognition Each alumna that contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque in the house. Naming opportunities are also available to recognize your support. All donors will be recognized in campaign publications unless otherwise notified. 100% Tax Deductible All donations will be tax deductible for the Our HFME, Our Legacy campaign. Donors will give through the University of Arkansas until July 1, 2018. Any gift provided after that date will go through Phi Mu Foundation. All gifts will be directed toward the Alpha Beta Chapter house project. Gifts to the University of Arkansas will count toward the University's current fundraising effort, Campaign Arkansas. All donations through the University and Phi Mu Foundation are tax deductible. Pay It Forward Your investment in Alpha Beta will directly impact the lives of our current and future members. Today, perhaps more than ever, it is important that we provide young college women with an environment that offers a solid foundation for their education and affords them opportunities for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. We recognize that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the sisterhood Phi Mu provided during our years at Arkansas. Now it is our turn to stretch our giving and support the financial challenge associated with this project. We must move forward now or risk falling behind others. If we wish for Phi Mu to continue its strong presence on the University of Arkansas campus, we must ensure that we are providing a safe, modern, and competitive home that fosters the sisterhood we all cherished during our days at Alpha Beta.
