BULLSALE Schedule of events By Julie Zeeb jzeeb@redbluffdailynews.com @DN_Zeeb on Twitter RED BLUFF Crowds were starting to pick up Thurs- day afternoon for the Trade Show at the Red Bluff Bull & Gelding Sale, where more than 150 vendors had their wares on display. Items included custom saddles and hat makers to clothing, jewelry and local organizations, such as the Red Bluff Round-Up, which had various merchandise from the April rodeo for sale. After being a spectator at the show for a while and starting her business, Kiss Me Cowgirl, Beverly Govi of Orland joined the ranks of the vendors for her first Bull & Gelding Sale booth with Shane McGarva shar- ing some of the space sell- ing his metal work, includ- ing a hoof pick that looked like a chili pepper. "The show is amazing," Govi said. "I enjoyed it as a spectatorandIalreadyknow I want to come back next year. I was fortunate to get agoodspottosellmyunique women's attire and accesso- ries that I hope women will wear and show off andhope- fully hear someone say Kiss Me Cowgirl." Carlos Duarte of Carlos' Silver in Roseville has been coming to Red Bluff for the Bull & Gelding Sale for 32 years, he said. "Yesterday we had a good day and things should pick up more today," Duarte said. "Itgetsbettereachdayofthe sale and we are expecting to have a pretty good show this year." Don Moe is a first time vendor from the Twin Falls, Idaho area with his booth Vintage Vaquero fea- turing his custom saddles that he has made for more than 30 years. Having grown up in Cal- ifornia, Moe said he has heard about the Red Bluff Bull & Gelding Sale his en- tire life. "I'm hoping it will be a great show," Moe said. "It's a chance to meet old friends and acquaintances as well."
