For the 33rd year in a row, the Red Bluff School of the Music Arts will pre- sent a day of music Satur- day, March 13. Instructor Judi Richins and 62 students of piano, trumpet and voice, ranging from age 4 to adult, will per- form a variety of pieces. Also performing will be the Winter Choir and the MusiKids- Klass, consist- ing of 3- to 5-year-olds. They will be colorfully out- fitted for a Dixieland Jazz piece. Student Jessica Rabalais will be emcee. There will be two differ- ent concerts with different performers in each on Sat- urday. The first will be at 11 a.m., followed by a recep- tion at 1 p.m. for everyone who attends either concert. The second concert will begin at 2 p.m. The event will be at the First Church of God, corner of Luther and South Jack- son streets. Thirty-four stu- dents, who have memorized five performance pieces and have entered and passed the annual adjudication this year, will be awarded medals and trophies for their accomplishments. Special recognition plaques will be awarded to eight students for their excellent musicianship. Musicians to perform in the concerts are: Holly and Samantha Beeman; Jayne, Jordan, and Julia Brandt; Natalie Brown; Mark Cohen; Grant and Mary Cottier; Ridge Culp; Jayden Curl; Jasmine Dittner; Hanne Mae and Baddeboo Hatcher-Dittner; Dustin Droz; Eva Flynn; Kevin Poster; Cullen and Reese Gambetta; Emiana and Mahalee Gaumer; Jennifer and William Gentry; Emilia Gray and Madison Poore (Jennifer Gentry's student); Paige Gonczeruk; Macey Grissom; Haley Isaacson; Tessa Jones; Jace Jonsson; Rosemary and Willow Kelly; Cadence and Judy Killam; Adam Kinner; Aubrey Lair; Ashtin and Austin Lopeman; Nick and Vanessa Martinez; Saman- tha McCammon; Giancarlo Nandino; Karl and Nicky Parks; Griffin and Jennifer Peyton; Jessica Rabalais; Kaylee and Laurelle Ram- sey; Ashley Randall; Caden, Chloe and Sophie Ray; Karli Rodriguez; Gin- ger and Thunder Shaffer; Amy Shoff; Amy and Melissa Stroing; Micah Stubbs; Josiah Vasey; Leslie Wall; and Allison Winning. Purchased with fundraiser money, the kid-friendly, touch-screen system will provide years of learning fun. Software included in the package helps kids with concepts of math, science, and reading.
