e 2025 Vision will guide Beta Rho by seing in place new goals, requirements, and guidelines to secure our next 100 years: 2. Newly Funded Chapter Advisory and Training Program • New house mentor - MSU grad student: - Will be provided a stipend of $6,000 per year and free room & board - Must reside in the chapter house to ensure oversight of chapter business practices, management processes, financial agreements, and adherence to house rules - Will report to the Chapter Advisor who is responsible for hiring and overseeing the House Mentor • Active and engaged Chapter Advisor • Beta Rho will be annually funded as a Bell Chapter, resulting in: - Eight members attending Sigma Chi workshops each year - Crossroad training once every two years - 365 recruitment training once every two years 5. Top Undergraduate Chapter Aligned with Chapter Alumni, Sigma Chi, and University Guidelines • Undergraduate chapter goals - Top three in fraternity GPA - Campus leadership • Alumni leadership goals - e House Building Company is properly manned by alumni - Officers – president, treasurer, secretary - Committees - Building and maintenance committee, fundraising committee, alumni relations committee • Active and engaged advisory group of alumni for top eight officers of the active chapter • Alumni-sponsored awards program recognizing academic excellence and leadership performance 3. Sustainable Fundraising Plan for Future House Maintenance • House charges will be reviewed yearly and compared to other fraternities and apartments in the Bozeman area to remain competitive and cover costs • A capital improvement fee, maintenance fee, and a parlour fee for live-out members will be collected by the House Building Company yearly to ensure that funds are available to properly maintain the house and fund any future renovations • e capital committee will continue to raise funds annually via direct mail and alumni dues for the estimated 1.4% ongoing maintenance cost of the facility 1. Fully Recapitalized and Modernized Chapter House • Long term, sustainable, and thoughtfully planned—the Beta Rho house must address undergraduate needs while maintaining an eye toward the future • No encumbering debt for future generations of Sigma Chis • Supported by the undergraduate chapter with a $150,000 contribution THE 2025 VISION 4. Energized and Active Alumni Base • e alumni relations committee will be adequately staffed with alumni to ensure: - A newsletter for each semester is published and distributed and the website is adequately managed - e alumni database is updated with the correct mailing address, cell phone, and e-mail address - An open house is held annually for alumni, including other alumni from other chapters living in the Bozeman area • Continued professional management of Beta Rho's communication by Pennington & Company, providing consultation to the alumni relations committee • An active alumni chapter holding quarterly meetings
