AlphA Chi omegA 5 Alumnae News Patricia Harding Woodhull '44 has been staying busy with her art, designing sweaters, and her band, in which she plays the flute. Ann and her husband, Bradley, have three children: Leslie, Marcia, and Clarissa. The two live in Fullerton, Calif. E-mail: patnbradw@sbcglobal.net Mary Lou Carlisle Schuler '52 reports that for more than 60 years since initiation, Alpha Betas from the 1954-55 initiation classes meet every other year. Marianne Schlatter Ash '53 reports she and her husband, Jim, celebrated 60 years of marriage with their three children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, plus spouses and future family members. They are so proud of all their family members and their accomplishments. She is looking forward to seeing some of her Alpha Beta sisters in the future. There they will be close to their family, including five great-grandchildren. Linda Woody Renz '58 stays busy traveling, playing golf, playing bridge, participating in church activities, and serving as vice- president of P.E.O. in Venice, Fla. Linda enjoys staying in touch with her Alpha Chi sisters, especially Joy Kratz Mitchell '58, who spends a month in Florida during the winter, during which they spend time together. She and her husband, Ralph, enjoy playing golf in couple's golf events. She stays busy with family, church, and Rotary activities. She has kept up with Purdue developments through her great- niece, Rebecca Wilmoth, who was the 2015-16 student body president. They live in Kemp, Texas. Kaye does Ikebana demonstrations from Maine to Florida and teaches flower show school. Kaye and her husband, Kirby, live in Newton, Mass. E-mail: vosburghk@aol.com Ann Swihart Butts '61 lives in Naples, Fla., eight and a half months of the year and Indianapolis during the summer. She still substitute teaches and plays tennis, golf, and bridge. Her husband, Jack, is also enjoying the good, retired life. When in Indy, they try to attend a Purdue football game. Mary's husband, Robert, passed away in March and her first grandson, Max, was born in Colorado. She enjoyed getting together with her Alpha Chi sisters at a reunion in Hillsborough, Calif. elaine Collins Minton '65 is blessed with a wonderful husband, Bernie, and two successful, grown sons. One of her joys is leading a support and encouragement group for widows. They meet for luncheons, share some laughter and tears, and pray for God's comfort and hope. They live in Poway, Calif. E-mail: eminton@nethere.com Barbara Griffin Klonowski '69 reports that retirement has been enjoyable. She and her husband, Bruce, moved to a lake and are traveling at different times of the year. They have four grandchildren under the age of 3, and they make for exciting visits. She loves it when they say, "Grandma!" They live in Middlebury, Ind. "It is such a fascinating country, and it is so easy to get to. The people are very welcoming." She just finished a print show of her photographic work in Cuba. Barbara lives in Westfield, Mass. She enjoys three precious grandchildren and is undertaking a big home renovation. She looks forward to having sisters stop by Houston after Alpha Chi's National Convention in Austin in 2018. Shari is now accepting "reservations;" she would love to see her AB sisters. She assures there will be no charge for staying with her in Houston! Her daughter, Brittani, is getting married to Bryan Roberts in October 2017 in Nashville. Her son, Anthony, is attending Millikin University and is on the varsity baseball team. She and her husband, William, live in Naperville, Ill. They are 21st century farmers who contribute to the production of food, fuel, fiber, and pharmaceuticals by raising corn and soybeans.
