Throughout her career, social life, and volunteer work, Lynne has carried her Theta sisterhood and met incredible women along the way. "When sisters say that we will support Theta for a lifetime, we mean it. There is a feeling that comes along with this membership that is indescribable. I see it in the women who I meet and watch the way that leadership is instilled in each of us. Being a Theta teaches us all to be better leaders and holds us accountable to a different level." Dedication to Theta held true for Lynne when it came time for Gamma Phi to build the new lodge. She saw the need for an update to the structure and called her sister, Dana Wendel Weber '78, to talk about what their involvement should be. The sisters conferred and made a contribution to the chapter's legacy. The downstairs powder room is named after the two in thanks for the commitment they made. "Gamma Phi has always been at the top nationally and our lodge is an extension of who we are. The old lodge was held together with love, but it wasn't showing how amazing Theta women are. We need it to look like who we are and we need to have a safe place for our young women. I want those women to have pride when they walk into our lodge and to understand the history all around them. "Theta has given me so much and when I think of that legacy, I knew I needed to be there to support this project. As Thetas, we are always pushing each other to grow and this new lodge is just the perfect example of it." In her career, Lynne has become a leader in the staffing and recruiting industry. She is the president of SuperiorHire, a boutique staffing firm in Dallas with a staff of 10 recruiters. Lynne continues her involvement in the industry as a member of Dallas HR, where she served as president in 2015. She is the founding board member of Women with Promise, raising funds to bring women out of sex trafficking and poverty.
