"On the heart of each sister Lies one key that binds us It's there to remind us of fraternity days" Do you remember this song sung at chapter meetings and special events during our college days? Even though it's been years since many of us called Kappa home, these lyrics struck a chord with the nearly 200 sisters who have truly remembered Kappa Kappa Gamma through their generous support of our campaign. Thank you! "Down deep there's a friendship That needs no concealing Our hearts are revealing in so many ways" For more than 60 years, the Delta Psi Chapter has been a leader in the Greek community at Texas Tech, with a reputation of well- rounded and intelligent women, involved campus leaders, loyal friendships, and fun. This comes from each generation passing down those qualities and caring about the future of our chapter. Kappa Kappa Gamma's excellence requires intention and dedication, much like a beautiful garden requires constant sun, water, and weeding. "It is here that we measure Each day with new pleasure Our friendships outlasting Our college-hood days" Most of us would say that the friendships made decades ago are still some of our most treasured. Those friendships are even richer today, deepened by celebrations of marriages, children, careers, and philanthropy, as well as sorrow in challenging times. In today's busy world, we appreciate and value the joy of having friends who have been with us through many seasons of life, and we wish the same for women who come after us. "And in the years after With tears or with laughter We'll always remember Our dear Kappa days." That is how the collegians feel when they learn that women they've never met have invested generously in them and their future, to the tune of more than $500,000. Even with the success of the campaign so far, we still need $120,000 to complete our ambitious project and ensure financial stability. This remaining amount is critical in allowing us to reach our goal of a beautiful lodge that is safe and designed for Delta Psi women in the coming years. Imagine the joy at our dedication celebration when there will be a toast and singing when touring our new Kappa house. We respectfully ask you to consider making a gift or pledge today by using the enclosed pledge form and envelope. Every gift to our campaign is significant and greatly appreciated. You may give a gift in honor of or in memory of a family member, pledge sister, or friend. Our goal is to have every sister give what she can, as all gifts are important to the success of this campaign. In appreciation, all donors of $1,000 or more will be recognized in campaign publications. Donors who contribute $2,500 or more to the campaign will have their name on a prominently displayed plaque in the chapter house to recognize our generous alumnae.
