we took an easier route to Foxfire Lean-to,
a structure made for overnight hikers like
us. Once we set up camp that afternoon,
we went out in groups and took day hikes
in the surrounding area on a beautiful
Saturday afternoon.
It was especially fun for me because I was
surrounded by some of my favorite women
at Cornell, but we were doing something
that was so out of the stereotypical sorority
experience. I am always amazed by Tri
Delta and the different things everyone in
our Chapter is involved in. Sharing our
experiences and skills in the outdoors with
our lineages was such a treat. My Big-Big,
Rachel Farrow '17, is also an instructor
for Cornell Outdoor Education and she
became even more of a role model for me
when we were sharing another thing we
were both passionate about. It was also a
great way to get away from campus one last
time and explore Upstate New York before
the year began. I am so thankful for my
sisters and experiences like this that make
our Chapter unique and our time in Tri
