Can't believe the Jags will be horrible once again. As for a win against Alex Smith-less Chiefs — nope. CHIEFS, 27-20 No. 16 Buffalo (plus 7) at No. 5 Seattle, Monday night Bills need LeSean Mc- Coy on the field to compete. SEAHAWKS, 22-10 No. 17 Detroit (plus 6) at No. 8 Minnesota Both teams come off road duds. Take the hosts. VIKINGS, 17-14 No. 28 New York Jets (plus 4) at No. 21 (tie) Mi- ami This game will not be decided by outstanding QB play. DOLPHINS, 16-13 No. 21 (tie) New Orleans (minus 2) at No. 31 San Francisco Niners aren't ready to beat anybody right now. SAINTS, 29-16 No. 27 Indianapolis (plus 7) at No. 9 Green Bay Packers are SO banged- up, but still the better side. PACKERS, 23-14 No. 19 Tennessee (plus 4 ) at No. 20 San Diego Even though they can't finish, Chargers are solid enough. CHARGERS, 30-23. NFL FROMPAGE1 Golden State had Wednesday off from prac- tice following a 127-104 win Tuesday night at Portland. "I'm going to enjoy my- self and get away from bas- ketball," Durant said. "At shootaround we'll think about going over the game plan and stuff and how we're going to try to win the game." Durant has scored 20 or more points in 68 straight regular-season games for the longest such streak since Michael Jordan did so in 69 consecutive out- ings in 1990-91. Coach Steve Kerr has insisted all along his team will need time to come to- gether and really click. Durant has made strides learning the system each day, leading the Warriors in scoring slightly ahead of two-time reigning MVP Stephen Curry. "KD is meshing with us beautifully. He fits right into what we want to do. He's a playmaker. He's per- fect for what we already do," Kerr said. "I'm sure he's going to be excited. Every player is excited when he plays against his former team. I used to get excited all the time because I played on so many teams. It's a lit- tle different for Kevin be- cause he's a superstar and the spotlight is on him, ev- erybody's going to be ask- ing him questions, the TV cameras will be on him and Russ. I'm sure it will be nice for both players to get this one behind them so they can go on with their season." For Golden State, win- ning at Oracle Arena would mean a lot regardless of the opponent. The Warriors took a 29-point beating at the hands of San Anto- nio in their season opener Oct. 25 — prompting fans to flood the exits with more than five minutes remain- ing in the rare blowout loss by the home team — but have a three-game win- ning streak since. "I've played Oklahoma City plenty of times so I know what it's like. He doesn't," Curry said of Du- rant. "We haven't won at home in a while, so that's all I'm really worried about. Just getting a home win." San Jose will serve as the Stage 2 finish for the Amgen Tour of Califor- nia, organizers announced Wednesday while naming host cities for the seven- day, 600-mile road race. Stage 2 will start Mon- day, May 15, in Modesto with an uphill finish some- where in San Jose, accord- ing to a news release. The stage will have six climbs but the actual route won't be released until later. San Jose, which has had a role in all but the 2016 tour, played host to a dra- matic finish on steep Sierra Road in 2011 as well as the 2013 individual time trial that ended with a climb on twisty Metcalf Road. The cyclists won't spend much time in the Bay Area, though. They have a three- hour transfer after finish- ing because Stage 3 starts in Pismo Beach the next morning. The race that is part of the World Tour for the first time starts May 14 in Sacra- mento and ends May 20 in Pasadena. Amgen organiz- ers also will hold a four-day World Tour women's event starting May 11 in South Lake Tahoe and ending May 14 in Sacramento. The men's race includes a 26-mile climb to Mount Baldy followed by an in- dividual time trial in Big Bear Lake. The final day starts at the Mountain High ski resort in the San Gabriel Mountains.
