Alwa y s FREE! WHAT'S INSIDE Quartzsite Off-Road Consortium releases new trail Atlas SEE OFF ROAD PAGE 4 The long-awaited Quartzsite Off-Road ATLAS is finally here! The Atlas is for the Off Road En- thusiast covering trails, points of interest, mines, stone cabins and historical sites around the Quartzsite area. The brand new book is a large format, easy-to- use, wire-bound off-road Atlas. The Atlas shows key off-road routes along with points of inter- est unique to the area. Published by the QIA sponsored Quartzsite Off-Road Consor- tium, the Atlas was designed by Quartzsite resident Mark Gold- berg, who donated countless hours coordinating with Arizona Sun Riders, Doug Ross and Steve Lambert, Arizona State Parks, Ar- izona Peace Trail, local Off-Road clubs and organizations. Quartzsite Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism board members Shanana Rain BearCat and Monica Timberlake debuted the Atlas and Off-Road Calen- dar at the International Off-Road Expo at WestWorld of Scottsdale September 23-25. Dr. Christina Anastasia & Raymond Winisky also volunteered at the Quartzsite booth, promoting over the Arizona Peace Trail and over 1,000 miles of trails in the Quartzsite area. The 54-page Atlas contains 33 detailed shaded topo maps, 43 lo- cal points of interest, 30 mines, 21 out-of-area points of interest, 6 guzzlers (game waterers) plus GPS Coordinates. The Atlas contains in- formation on the newly approved Arizona Peace Trail, off road regu- lations, an emergency checklist, lists of clubs, organizations, local RV Parks, and much more!
