He reports that he still plays a little golf and meets with friends for lunch at the club. Herbert retired in 1991 following a career as a geologist, geophysicist, and explorationist. He worked in the oil and gas business where he was director and president of Triton Energy, chairman and CEO of Triton Europe, Plc., and founder of Madison Oil Company, where he became CEO until it was acquired by Toreador Resources Corporation. He served Toreador as an officer and director. He makes his home in Dallas with his wife, Paulyne. Community and church involvement fills his days and nights. He and his wife, Patsy, have five children and live in Nacogdoches, Texas. E-mail: leonhallman@att.net Nick Classen '61 reports that since retiring in 2000, he has operated a successful small business, Bagpipes for all Occasions, playing for weddings, funerals, parties, and miscellaneous ceremonies, and giving bagpipe lessons. He also belongs to the Capitol City Highlanders Pipe Band, playing pipes and drums. He lives in Austin with his wife, Linda, and has two children, Wade and Kate. He is the former president of Transwestern Pipeline Company and chief commercial officer with Regency Gas Partners. He is now the executive vice president for Energy Transfer Partners. Jim and his wife, Peggy, live in Dallas and have four children. E-mail: jholotik@aol.com William Whitehill '79 was elected to serve as a justice on the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals at Dallas. He was recently elected to serve as the chairman of the State Bar of Texas Antitrust and Business Litigation Section. He lives in Coppell, Texas, with his wife, Katherine, and has three children. "We now have Red Dragon Pirate Ship and have expanded our restaurant to include Fins Grill & Icehouse, The Brewery, and MacDaddy's Family Kitchen." Kelly's son, Mac, graduated from UTSA and his daughter, Kellie Elizabeth, is at Texas Tech University and a member of Chi Omega. I learned valuable interpersonal skills and I am convinced that my SigEp days created an environment for learning to work as a team and finding ways of motivating others to join the team effort." Hobbies outside of work now compete for Roger's time. He and his wife, Donna, are avid scuba divers and Roger hunts waterfowl and upland birds and enjoys saltwater fishing. Recently, he has turned a love of flying into a charitable endeavor, working with the Angel Flight organization to provide people in need with free air transportation for medical and humanitarian purposes. Roger and Donna make their home in Houston. They have one daughter, Kate, who lives in Austin with her husband, Paul—they are expecting their first child, a boy and future Texas Alpha member.
