The following projects were finished this summer: demolition and replacement of roofs; new exterior sewer lines; new hot water heaters, water softeners, and new water line; additional electrical service; and new HVAC. Structural concrete foundations for the three additions and brickwork has progressed and all are scheduled for completion by mid-November, including the new two-story addition that will be ready for 20 men to occupy. Other scheduled construction phases are the completion of the third floor by mid-January 2017, half of the second floor by late February, and finishing the second floor by mid-April. According to the contractor's schedule, more than 62% of the brothers will be in new rooms with new HVAC, bathrooms, and furniture by mid-January and all remaining brothers by late February. The completion of the first floor and landscaping is scheduled to be completed by August 1, 2017. 2017 is our 100th anniversary on campus and plans for a gala party at Homecoming in October are in the works. We won't know the date due to football conference schedules, so keep all weekends open until we know. Our undergraduate brothers have been hard at work! Since the spring semester of 2014, our ADZ Chapter earned five consecutive outstanding academic rankings from a 3.079 to a 3.34 GPA, earning third place for spring semester 2016 among all fraternities. We missed first place by 0.071 points. Congratulations, and keep up the great work! The Chapter ranked sixth in intramural sports for 2015-16 and continued their amazing work with many service projects. Every brother is required to perform 20 hours of community service each semester. Read more about our undergraduate successes on page 3. Don't forget that time is running short to get your name on our contributors list to show your loyalty to ADZ of Lambda Chi Alpha and honor brothers from your college days.
