A NEW STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE O ur investment in the future of Delta Alpha's Shelter will ensure the success of our chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater brotherhood. Today, perhaps more than ever, college fraternities play a critical role in shaping the lives of young men. Delta Alpha provides a small-group living environment that provides our members with a solid foundation for their four-year educational experience. While promoting high academic achievement as a basis for personal success, our chapter maintains focus on out-of-the-classroom development of leadership and social skills. But, in order to continue to offer this opportunity at Oklahoma, we must update our chapter facility. The undergraduate men work hard to maintain the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many Delts over the years. Together with our active members, the volunteer leadership of the Delta Alpha Building Corporation is committed to this major undertaking, which will allow us to renovate and expand our Shelter and compete with other fraternities and on-campus housing options at Oklahoma. This stage of our project requires assistance from a highly selective group of alumni like you. We are identifying brothers who have both the ability and interest to provide major assistance to the project. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who came before us. We all enjoyed the bonds of brotherhood that Delta Tau Delta provided during our years at OU. Now it is our turn to support Delta Alpha and ensure that the same, wonderful Delta Shelter experience is available to future generations. We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. We must move forward now or risk falling behind others. With your support, Delta Alpha will continue to provide a quality living environment that supports, nurtures, and develops outstanding young men with the skills to face an ever-changing world.
