NEARLY A CENTURY OF EXCELLENCE AT OU
S
ince 1922, Delta Tau Delta has been a leading member of the
Greek community at the University of Oklahoma. With more
initiates than almost every chapter of Delta Tau Delta, Delta Alpha
has influenced the lives of thousands of men, cultivating lasting
friendships in the process. As alumni, we can trace many of our best
college memories back to our Delt experience.
While there may be some differences in today's chapter compared
to the one you remember, one thing remains the same—fraternities
play a significant role in the development of young men. In addition
to the values strengthened through the bonds of our brotherhood,
our members acquire valuable life skills that are crucial in today's
competitive, globalized world.
Our Shelter at 1320 College Avenue is clearly the foundation of Delta
Alpha undergraduate life. It has been a home away from home and
a classroom where our brothers learn to lead lives of excellence.
The strength of our membership continues to be among the best.
However, if we wish for Delta Alpha to continue its strong presence
on the University of Oklahoma campus, we must ensure that we are
providing a safe, modern, and competitive facility for future members.
As the culture at OU changes and Greek life increases in popularity,
now is the necessary time to secure our future.
