e urge your thoughtful consideration of this project. You are the only
one who can place a value on your Gamma Kappa membership—on
the lifelong friendships you made, on the values and principles that were
instilled in you, and on the many ways Lambda Chi Alpha enhanced your
college years and continues to enhance your life as an alumnus. Together
with our active members, the volunteer leadership of Gamma Kappa is
committed to this major undertaking, which will allow us to rebuild our
home on Stewart Road and ensure the legacy of Gamma Kappa Zeta.
gift Structure
Because of the magnitude of our objectives, we urge all alumni to consider
major gifts to the campaign. In order for each alumnus to maximize his
participation, gifts can be structured over a five-year pledge period. However,
early gifts to the campaign are preferable to help reduce borrowing costs.
Gifts in honor of or in memory of other Lambda Chis, as well as family
gifts, are welcome. Recognition in such cases will be given to both the
donor and the honoree.
tax-deductiBLe giftS
In order to ensure a significant portion of our donors are able to receive a tax
deduction for their gift to this campaign, the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity
Property Management Corporation has set up a fund at the Lambda Chi
Alpha Foundation specifically for the Gamma Kappa Zeta house project.
Gifts to the campaign are 100% tax deductible through the Gamma Kappa
Zeta Educational Housing Fund at the Lambda Chi Alpha Foundation. The
Internal Revenue Service will allow exclusively educational space in the
home to be funded with tax-deductible dollars that are gifted to the Lambda
Chi Foundation and designated for the Gamma Kappa Zeta Educational
Housing Fund.
