the next 100 yearS for gamma Kappa n ow is the time for Gamma Kappa to make a long-needed investment in our future. The Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity Property Management Corporation and undergraduate leadership have developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the Lambda Chi experience at Mizzou. Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that rebuilding the chapter house is urgent and necessary. Working with Columbia-based architect Bob Cunningham and Landmark Bank, the house corporation has developed a strategic approach to the rebuilding of the chapter house. goaLS of our reBuiLd 1. Provide a premier living-learning environment for our members that will set Gamma Kappa apart from the newly constructed and renovated Mizzou residence halls and other fraternities. 2. Expand our facility's meeting, study, and common areas to accommodate our growing membership and meet the needs of the growing demand for Greek life and fraternity housing at Mizzou. 3. Build a new, state-of-the-art structure that will ensure Gamma Kappa's legacy for the next 100 years. eStimated coSt: $4,000,000 project highLightS: • Build a new, competitive 15,203 sq. ft. house • Increase occupancy from 38 to 43 members • Provide more individual and group study space • Improve the safety of all members • Provide more areas to gather for brotherhood events • Give Lambda Chi a competitive edge in recruiting quality members • Allow the house to be comparable to new residence halls on campus • Upgrade the technology available to members • Comply with all ADA regulations • Meet all fire suppression regulations " The fraternity today is flourishing.
