The men of Gamma Kappa today are top notch." – don fuson'66, GK 556 our urgent need W hile the Gamma Kappa experience is certainly more than the bricks and mortar of the chapter house, our home plays a significant role in the development of our brotherhood. It serves as a symbol of our shared values and goals, a symbol of generations of Gamma Kappa men. Built in 1912, 111 E. Stewart Road is showing its age. At the same time, shifts in the culture of college campuses nationwide, and specifically shifts in culture within the Mizzou Greek community, require us to rebuild our chapter house. Now is the time to make a major investment in our chapter home if we are to remain competitive on campus. In order to ensure that Lambda Chi remains one of the premier fraternities on campus, we must provide an updated home that provides a quality living environment, encourages personal and academic excellence, and fosters brotherhood. Why not 503 KentucKy? Because many of our alumni relate their Lambda Chi experience to our home on 503 Kentucky, the Gamma Kappa alumni leadership team has exhaustively pursued all options to move back into Greek Town. Specifically, two real estate searches, one with Prudential Select Properties and one with House of Brokers, came back negative and gave no hope for open real estate in the foreseeable future.
