Continuing the
Tradition of
Excellence
F
or more than 100 years, Kappa Delta has
consistently been a top Chapter at FSU.
Our national and campus-wide success reflects the
dedication of active and alumna members alike.
Today, our collegians embody the values of Kappa
Delta through their academic achievement, campus
involvement, and philanthropic endeavors.
• Even with increasingly challenging academic
majors, Kappa Alpha has maintained a 3.25 GPA
or higher, placing it in the top three chapters
on campus. Additionally, many members are
involved in undergraduate research.
• Members are involved in campus organizations
such as SGA, FSU Cheerleading, Student
Booster Association, Garnet and Gold Key, and
Order of Omega, just to name a few.
• In 2016, Kappa Alpha raised more than $20,000
for Prevent Child Abuse America and $24,000
for the Children's Miracle Network.
Just as alumnae sisters have led Kappa Delta nationally,
the undergraduate Chapter is regularly recognized as
a leader among Kappa Delta chapters. Recent awards
include:
• Corre Anding Stegall Leadership Award
• Merit Chapter Award (top 10%)
• Academic Excellence Award
