Jane Schaefer was recently awarded
the Robert Lyon Waren Award at Fay-
etteville Academy. The scholarship
award is for an outstanding student at
Fayetteville Academy who embodies
leadership, compassion, service, physi-
cal vigor, academic merit and joy. This
is the 10th year of the award, named
after Sandee and Marshall Waren's son,
Bob Waren, who spent 12 years at Fay-
etteville Academy and graduated from
Kenan-Flagler Business School at The
University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill. Bob was a successful investment
banker on Wall Street before his death
by cancer on March 2, 2006. Jane
Schaefer is the Scholarship Athlete of
the year in addtion to being Athlete of
the year, the first time a student has
won both awards simultaneously. She
will attend Wake Forest University in
the fall on a full scholarship.

rapher. Matthew has been in
Fayetteville for ten years and has
been working with us since 2015.
