Please consider a gift to MO Gamma's Scholarship fund by visiting http://ow.ly/HcpY5 Ensuring the Future of MO Gamma Leave Your Mark by Considering the Chapter in Your Estate Plans A nother school year has flown by. I am happy to report that the Chapter had a good year. The members completed the spring semester in a disappointing seventh place among all fraternities on campus with a 3.206 GPA. Several other fraternities stepped up their scholastic performance and our chapter has to respond. The intramural competitions finished with SigEp in third position, a finish that is in balance with our objective of Sound Body, Sound Mind. Thank you to all of the brothers who contributed to our annual fundraising effort, Ducal Crown Raise. We received contributions from 20 loyal brothers. Please remember to join this group by sending in your contribution to the Ducal Crown Raise today. With your support, we can continue to make incredible strides toward becoming an outstanding Chapter. Chapter membership reached 100 brothers strong this year, which places the Chapter third in size. The brothers carefully and considerately raised membership over the last several years. They continue to make certain that they are able to manage the additional size, as well as maintain the critical components of strong brotherhood and outstanding men. The Chapter is in a good spot, with an excellent balance between scholastics, intramurals, campus activities, philanthropy, and strong brotherhood. There are many components that make an ordinary chapter an outstanding chapter. One of those components is the ability to help the undergraduates who need financial aid. You can make a difference in our ability to help these undergraduates by naming Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, MO Gamma Scholarship Fund in your estate planning documents. Many times people think that estate gifts are only for wealthy people, but the fact is that all of us can make a difference with an estate gift that fits us. Please consider including the scholarship fund in your estate plans. The funds will be used for member scholarships based upon the criteria that has been established: need, scholastic performance, contribution to the Chapter, and impact on the fraternal spirt of the Chapter. The scholarship selection committee consists of the alumni board president, treasurer, scholarship chairman, and brotherhood chairman, plus the chapter president, vice president of brotherhood development, and chaplain. The scholarship documents are set up to provide member scholarships that do not exceed 15 percent of the fraternity's annual rate for room and board. At today's rate, that would be a maximum of about $1,200. Thank you for your support of MO Gamma Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
