Most of my efforts on this 19,000-square-foot home and its half-acre lot are focused on maintenance. Much like your own home, there are always projects that need to be completed at the chapter house. The Chi Omega Association has several large projects on the horizon, including replacing sections of the leaking roof and repairing chimneys and fireplace boxes. These are all necessary and costly, but nearly invisible improvements, which is why the Chi Omega Association is delighted to announce the completion of a smaller low-cost project: the acquisition of two handsome trophy cases installed in the Fern Room. This room now serves as the passageway to the new deck and patio. Our existing trophy case in the library was simply too shallow and hard to see. Now, we have prominent display cases to honor the crowd of award recipients and honorees that all can visit, admire, and appreciate. We owe a special thanks to Vice President and Treasurer Buffy Cereske, Psi Alpha '74 and Director and Archivist Elizabeth Adams, Omicron'70 for finding these cases at bargain prices and setting up the new arrangements. Next time you are on campus, please stop by and see these beautiful pieces, and while you are there, we hope that you will look around to identify a project that you or your Chi Omega sisters might be able to sponsor. Please reach out to me if you are interested in getting involved. Remember, Chi Omega is not just for four years—it's for life!
