Your gifts make it possible for our undergraduates to reside in a safe and comfortable home while remaining competitive at The Ohio State University. The following is a list of alumnae who gave in 2015. Thank you for your support! R ho Chapter has been thriving this semester. We began 2016 with one of our best recruitments, initiating 61 new members. Our semester was full of sisterhood, social events, and community projects. The chapter is also a finalist for Greek Chapter of the Year. In the fall, Rho Chapter ranked 11th overall in the Greek community with a 3.37 GPA, and 74 sisters made the Dean's List. We continued with Geek of the Week, where we rewarded high grades on assignments to encourage members to study and work hard. We held our annual Red Week for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. This event was packed with an LF Clothing Trunk Show, awareness booths around campus, and our Say Cheese event. We raised more than $3,500. Our annual Phi Trotters basketball tournament was on April 10 to support Sharsheret. We also volunteered with the men of Phi Gamma Delta to restore an off-campus community center. The chapter created a team for Buckeyethon, Ohio State's dance marathon, to raise money for Nationwide Children's Hospital. More than 40 sisters raised money, and 22 danced for 12 hours. Rho Chapter values philanthropy and service, and we continue working to better the world. In addition to our commitment to academics and philanthropy, our members are invested in strengthening the bonds between sisters. From laser tag to ice skating to sushi making, the sisters loved spending time together while creating unique and memorable experiences. We had our first annual AEPHIT week, where we hosted programs to encourage physical activity in a fun environment. One of our more intimate sisterhood events is our good and welfare programs. This provides an opportunity to share feelings and emotions in the presence of supportive sisters. We pride ourselves on the ability to form a bond that is both exciting and deep. The chapter looks forward to the future. We have many ideas to lead our chapter in a positive direction, and I cannot wait to see what we will accomplish. I look forward to reconnecting with all sisters at the alumnae brunch in the fall.
