It's fantastic to work with brothers who are just as passionate and excited about our growth as I am. Recruitment continues to be one of our top priorities. Recruitment Chairman Gordon Read '18 remains diligent in finding potential new members to join our bond. He brought many fantastic ideas and another seven quality associates. That brings us to 14 new brothers within the last year, which is the most successful year of recruitment in recent history. We can already see their passion for Phi Sig. We can't wait to see what they will accomplish. The chapter is also focusing on improving our commitment to service and philanthropy. The community has been extremely helpful in getting us to where we are today, and this is our way of showing gratitude. Last semester, Delta Triton completed 168 service hours, much more than we have in recent past. In order to achieve our goal of growth in service, we've updated the required service hours from five to seven hours per brother. The policy worked well in the past, and we are excited at the possibility of us achieving more than 200 service hours for the semester. Along with service, our philanthropic efforts have been fantastic this semester. I'm incredibly proud to report we raised $2,200 for the Special Olympics through Polar Plunge, about a 50 percent increase from last semester. Brothers are active in the Greek community by attending other philanthropy events throughout campus. This semester, we hope to co-host an event with another Greek organization on campus to raise even more money for great causes. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out. We love to hear from our alumni. Damn Proud!
