Our motto is "to never become complacent," and we express that attitude in everything that we do by giving 110% in all aspects of this fraternity. Through the support of our alumni, campus administrators, and board of trustees, we have been given the opportunity to excel beyond expectations and we are so thankful for their continued support. Top Five in Academics This year we ranked in the top five fraternities on campus in grades with a cumulative GPA of 3.12. This is a considerable increase from last year's GPA of 3.08. At the 2016 Student Life Awards held this spring, we were awarded the title of Outstanding Chapter in Academics. $3,700 Raised for the Children's Miracle Network We have had a large impact on campus through our philanthropic involvement. Our chapter raised a total of $3,700 for the Children's Miracle Network and ranked fourth out of 20 in money raised for this charity. Over 120 members participated in the all-day philanthropic event called The Big Event. In addition, we also have one of the highest registration totals for Relay for Life, which is a philanthropy that works to raise money for cancer research. Our chapter has a special passion for philanthropic work and we use that passion to do our best to give back to the OU community. Strong Leadership and Campus Involvement We placed second in this year's Homecoming competition, which marks our second consecutive year of placing in the top three. We also participated in this year's Sooners Scandals show with the women of Delta Delta Delta. Our chapter is home to the 2015 IFC president, the 2015 College Bowl chairman, eight President's Community Scholars, five President's Leadership Class scholarship recipients, and more than 30 men who have either made the Dean's List (3.5 GPA or higher) or the President's List (4.0 GPA). Each year our chapter hosts a specific day to celebrate our mothers and fathers. We hold a day-long event with food, games, slideshows, raffles, and live bands. We do this to show our love and support to the parents who work tirelessly to help our brothers and, ultimately, this chapter succeed. This year, we had a record number of teams that made it to the intramural playoffs in football, basketball, soccer, tennis, and more. With an emphasis on increased practice and dedication, we have increased our standards in this category of campus involvement. Overall, the Delta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega has an unwavering desire to be a positive influence on our campus and around the nation. With all of our achievements, we have received considerable recognition, but we couldn't have done it alone. We are so thankful to all of you who have donated your time and money to this brotherhood. We hope to continue to use these resources to better our chapter and our wonderful Sooner community.
