Thankyou! PLEASE RECYCLE THIS NEWSPAPER. TheOakdaleRodeo last weekend had a very muddy arena, and af- ter Tuesday night's light- ning storm with half inch of rain about 9 p.m., Red Bluff had a muddy arena for slack on Wednesday morning. About 200 attended the Tough Enough To Wear Pink Luncheon hosted by Red Bluff Rotary. Co- chairwomen Vicky Stroud, Bev Ross, Sue Ampi and Jean Moran and Linda Bullock were recognized by emcee Bill Cornelius. Long time Rotarian Doug Sale led the flag sa- lute, and John Growney, host for the luncheon, was recipient of Cornelius hu- mor. The Alldrin Family of Palo Cedro welcomed us with their music, as we en- joyed the 82 pounds of tri tip that had been grilled by Rotarians, with beans, salad, french bread and cookies. Parking and serving the luncheon was performed by Red Bluff FFA mem- bers. Earlier in the morn- ing the tables and chairs were set on the lawn, and the pink carnation flo- ral arrangements by the RBHS Floral Design class were arranged on the ta- bles. Thursday evening was the Tehama County Cattle- men and Chamber Mixer at Reynolds Ranch and Farm Supply with dancing to Chad Bushnell, guest vocalist Ashtin Lopeman and band. Vic Woolery and crew grilled 150 pounds of tri tip, for Bob Lester, Bob Chaney and Pem Lester to slice for the CattleWomen to make their tri tip faji- tas. Joyce Bundy was chair- woman of the fajita crew including Beth Chaney, Tammy Chrisler, Carol Enos, Irene Fuller, Bev Govi, Kathy Hayden, Kelly Mouton, Barbara Secor, Cathy Tobin. Tehama County Cattle- men bartenders included President Chad Amen, VP Ron Humphry, Past Pres- idents Dick and Chris O'Sullivan, Wally Roney, Fred Hamilton, and Di- rectors Mike and Ken- dra McCluskey, Dave and Cindy Stroing, Adam and Candice Davy, Jeff White, Bryce Borror and the tall gentleman in the black hat, Curt Friedrichs. Barbara Secor's house guest during the rodeo and attending the mixer was Sydni Blanchard, two- time National Finals Ro- deo qualifier from Albu- querque, New Mexico. She was very complimentary about the grounds for the barrel racing, after our rain storm. Congratulations Direc- tor Mike Dudley and crew. They replaced the muddy soil with dry dirt. Couldn't hear the number of dump trucks used, in the noise at the Mixer when Corky Kramer was telling me about it. As one cattleman said "It's as noisy as a field of geese." The official souvenir program for the 95th Red Bluff Round-Up is 148 pages, in color. Congrat- ulations Director Kramer and Walker Printing. It is a true souvenir.
