While this has been an exciting time, it has also been an extremely busy one. Not only did we transition to a new facility, but we also implemented fundamental changes in our programming designed to create a better long-term experience for our members. As outlined in some detail in our last newsletter, those changes included the ongoing chapter reorganization initiative coordinated by Delta Upsilon International Fraternity (DUIF), employment of a DUIF leadership development professional to be our house director, a requirement that associate members live in the residence halls, and new security and property management programs. While we still have refinements to make, much of the foundation has been laid. It is now time to officially dedicate and celebrate the new facility and conclude the capital campaign. House Dedication and Celebration Please save the date of June 17-18 to visit Columbia and help us celebrate the dedication of the new chapter house. Plans are being finalized and details will be shared soon. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reconnect and celebrate with your brothers! Capital Campaign Concluding on December 31 The Building our Next 100 Years capital campaign will officially conclude on December 31. We are currently within $50,000 of our $3 million goal. While this has clearly been a success, we need to make every effort to hit and exceed what we set out to accomplish. We are hopeful that the official dedication will inspire many who have not given to make a contribution and that existing donors might give a bit more. This will also be the last opportunity for those who wish to have their name on the permanent donor plaque in the new facility. We are excited to announce that we will be offering a special opportunity to make a tax-deductible gift to the campaign. As you may recall, tax-deductible gifts were limited to those who made pledges of $25,000 or more. (Continued on page 3)
