ith the support of early donors, Beta Omicron embarked on the mission of bringing the Chapter
back to the University of Texas based on the vision of the Men of Principle initiative.
TIMELINE:
• Completed
o July 2015 – Beta Theta Pi National consultant sent to the University of Texas campus to begin
building relationships with university officials, student organizations, and professors
o August 2015 – Recruitment begins; consultant led a multi-person team with Beta Omicron
involvement to recruit the first Re-Founding Fathers
o November 2015 – First Re-Founding Father class to start pledgeship led by full-time
Beta Theta Pi consultant
o January 2016 – First recruitment led by newly initiated Re-Founding Father class assisted by
full-time Beta Theta Pi consultant
• Next Steps
o August 2016 – Recruitment continues; full-time Beta Theta Pi consultant helps develop the
young Chapter
o January 2018 – Acquisition of Chapter House
