Maybe you're a couple taking care of each other, or have lost a loved one you cared for. There are many dimensions to caregiving, and everyone can use some support now and then. It sounds easy enough; preparing meals, making appointments, check- ing meds, and such. However, caregiving presents us with one of life's greatest challenges, so I am here to announce a new caregiving support group for Quartzsite. Please join me, other caregivers, and the people they care for, to see if we can create a supportive and relaxed atmosphere together, once a week. We will explore different topics and resources, while having a place to unwind, and find solutions. Our first meeting will be held at the VFW dining room on Wed April 13th at 1:00pm, for introductions and your ideas. Snacks will be provided, and beverages will be available for purchase. The public is welcome, and I hope we have a great turn out, so please join the new club in town! Let's put some fun back into caregiving! Questions? Call Lisa (425) 830-9200. Check out the new Facebook page! @ Quartzsite Caregiving Alliance New caregiving support group starts
