SIGMA ALPHA EPSILON PAGE 3 Montana Beta UndergradUates Boast PhilanthroPic and recrUitMent sUccess S pirits are high and brotherhood is strong at 1120 Gerald. We initiated six new brothers to our fraternity, making us 50 members strong. In the fall we earned a 3.1 GPA. We anticipate academic progress by the end of this semester and we look forward to raising our GPA each term. Our chapter has hosted and participated in a variety of unique and fun social events with other fraternities and sororities, including projecting movies in the parking lot and an open barbecue on our lawn every Friday. The chapter house feels more alive than ever. Philanthropic Endeavors Bring Success to Missoula This semester, our chapter volunteered with a new local brewery called Imagine Nation. On March 12, we hosted a backyard and river cleanup with the brewery and barbecue was served in the back of the property. We hosted our Paddy Murphy philanthropy week, which consisted of Greek-wide tasks and a fundraiser for the Clark Fork Coalition. The philanthropy week concluded on March 26 with the Sigma Alpha Epsilon river jam, which included four local bands who played live on our lawn. All proceeds from our philanthropic events were donated to the Clark Fork Coalition to purchase trees that we will plant around the Missoula community. Reconnect with Montana Beta Today We encourage all alumni to reconnect with the chapter and develop a relationship with our active members. We would love to expand our alumni network and see new faces at our alumni luncheons, Homecoming, and any alumni-oriented events. If you are ever in the area, we encourage you to stop by and reconnect with the chapter. We look forward to seeing you!
