Anchored In Delta Gamma at the University of Kansas spring 2016 inside: Alumnae Spotlights p. 2 • Delta Gamma Welcomes 13 New Members p. 3 • Save the Date p. 4 I n recent years, the Beta Kappa House Corporation has worked diligently to keep our beloved Chapter house up to date and beautiful. Last summer, we made several updates in the tube room, formal living room, dining room, basement, and individual rooms. As we look to the future, the house corporation board is happy to announce that we will be doing a much- anticipated renovation of the bathrooms during summer 2016. PROJECT PLANS FOR BATHROOM RENOVATION Our goal is to transform the outdated bathrooms into modern, functional facilities within the existing space. Thanks to a very generous gift from the undergraduate chapter, we plan to remove the finishes and surfaces, recycle what we can, and replace everything from the toilets to the shower stalls in a complete makeover of all four bathrooms. These are just a few of the changes that will help create a more beautiful space. These renovations will help us maintain a competitive edge on KU's campus and ensure our members have a comfortable, modern facility to live in. ALUMNAE DONATIONS HELP ENSURE FUTURE OF BETA KAPPA Once the bathrooms are completed, the house corporation also plans to begin refurnishing rooms in the chapter house. As we start this exciting project, we are asking for the support of all our alumnae to help with the costs. Your donations are appreciated and will allow the house corporation board to make these necessary changes without the burden of debt. Now is the time to give back to the Chapter that gave us all so many fond memories. Please complete and mail the enclosed pledge form to make your contribution to Delta Gamma today! VISIT 1015 EMORY ANYTIME We invite you to stop by the Chapter house at any time to see all the work we have done and meet our wonderful members.
