In fact, over $60,000 is spent annually in Tehama County alone managing household haz- ardous waste (HHW) received from the public. Much of this HHW is not in fact waste, but products in good condition that can easily be reused. As part of a grant funded by the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, the Tehama County Sani- tary Landfill Agency (Agency) announces REAP, the new mobile reuse program for clean- ing products, stains, paint, polishes, and automotive fluid products. The mobile trailer is aptly named REAP, which stands for Reuse of Avail- able Products. All motorcyclists are welcome, rain or shine, to commemorate the life of Ronnie Lee King, a Tehama County boy who died at 15 from complications relating to a seizure disorder. All proceeds benefit the Antelope Volunteer Fire Department and the Los Molinos Volunteer Fire Department, as well as the Sheriff's Explorer Post 120. The event brings awareness of seizure disorders and remembers the life of Ronnie Lee. So in his memory we are trying to carry on his wishes." The volunteers for this ride are members of Ronnie Lee's family and the Lassen Riders, a chapter of the Goldwing Touring Association. The memorial run starts at the Tehama District Fair- ground on Antelope Boulevard. Ride includes a Poker Run, a scenic ride through the countryside, lunch and refreshments. Lunch is served at 12:30 p.m. Raffle and 50/50 tickets will be available. Prizes will be awarded for High Hand and Low Hand. Pre-registration must be received by April 30. Fees are $15 for pre-registration. On-site registration fees are $20 per person. Lunch offered after the run will be $10 per person.
