WWW.UPANDCOMINGWEEKLY.COM 14 UCW FEBRUARY 3 - 9, 2010 Chairman The n speaks speaks Your Chamber is hap- py to announce that the All American Drug Card can be used to discount the H1N1 vaccination, which is not covered by most insurance providers. If you have not heard, the All-American Drug Card provides savings of up to 75 percent on pre- scription drugs, and is accepted at more than 50,000 pharmacies across the country. "The Chamber is excited to offer this card to the community as part of our ongo- ing commitment to assisting local business with one of their top concerns — insur- ance for their employees," said Doug Peters, president and CEO of the Chamber. "This card complements the Chamber's recently launched ChamberCare program, but also has the added benefi t of being available to every resident of Cumberland County." The All-American Drug Card was launched to help uninsured and underinsured residents afford their prescription medica- tions. However, the program can also be used by people who have health insurance coverage with no prescription benefi ts, which is com- mon in many health savings accounts (HSA) and high deductible health plans. Addition- ally, people who have prescription coverage can use this program for non-formulary or non-covered drugs. The card has no restrictions to mem- bership, no income or age limitations and residents are not required to fi ll out an application to obtain a free card. You can download a card and search drug pricing and participating pharmacies at www.fayettevil- lencchamber.org. You can also pick up a card at the Chamber offi ce.
