Steven Farrell has been named Regional Sales Manager for the Rocky Mountain and Northwest regions and Chris Commins will serve as Regional Sales Manager of the Pacific Rim and Pacific Southwest. Farrell and Commins will focus on helping members in their respective areas drive sales and profits through all BrandSource programs. They will also assist with recruiting new members. Farrell is based in Northern Utah and Commins resides in Northern California. Both will report to Tom Bennett, president of Brand Source, and Kevin Werner, lead regional manager. "Steven will be an outstanding asset to our team," said Bennett. "His experience and long-term relationships will help us drive member value throughout the regions." "Chris has been a leader in the furniture and mattress industry for years and we're lucky to have him join us," he added. Commins started his career in the furniture and bedding industry nearly 20 years ago. He has held sales and management positions at Sealy, E.S. Kluft, Kingsdown and Reverie. In addition, Chad Evans has been promoted to Director of Merchandising and will be responsible for managing all BrandSource vendor relationships as well as vendor/dealer programs, with a specific focus on helping members improve merchandising efforts for increased profitability. Previously, Chad was Regional Manager for the Northwest and Rocky Mountains. Evans will report to John White, chief marketing officer and executive VP of Appliances. "Chad has a strong record of success and has excelled in managing solid and mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues and peers," said White. "He also has a strong sense of integrity and reliability, making him perfect for the position."
