Students Hope Bass and Eddie Proctor representing the SERRF — Safe Education Recreation for Rural Families — Junior High Leadership Team offered to serve recently at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Second Hand Store in Red Bluff. Students stocked shelves, organized clothing and further assisted staff as needed. As a result of their ser- vice, the store generously donated several bags of clothing to the Salvation Army and games to be used in SERRF after school activities. Students greatly benefit from learning while serving others, also known as Ser- vice Learning. SERRF is thankful to the store and manager Lisa Elliot for the opportunity and their support aiding young people serving in our community. The team is always looking for opportunities to collaborate with local businesses and community members. Those interested in collaborative opportunities can call Stacey Garrett at 526-1630 or the SERRF office at 528-7381. SERRF leaders help out at Hospice Second Hand Store Community Clips Helen Hagins
