Little Free Libraries are hand-crafted struc- tures that contain con- stantly changing collec- tions of books donated and shared by people of all ages. LITERACY The Writers Forum De- cember read-around and potluck, set for 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, will showcase members by offering the oppor- tunity to read up to five minutes from their orig- inal works. A gear bag valued at $300, welding supplies valued at $250, a welding jacket valued at $100and a Milwaukee grinder valued at $150were stolen. The bag was later found on the same street and was returned to the owner. Other items are still missing. Lake California Drive at Main Street: A man reported Saturday that two of his tires had been stolen off of his vehicle. The tires were replaced with a flat tire and a spare tire. Estimated loss was $800. The fuel line of the vehicle was cut and the plates may have been stolen. 24400block of Eldrid Avenue: A person reported Sunday that a grill was taken from a vehicle. The estimated value is $300to $500. 700block of Givens Road: Sometime between Friday and Saturday an unknown person entered a vehicle at this location and stole a money order valued at $550. 800block of Kimball Road: Sometime between Thursday and Friday an unknown person attempt- ed to break into a vehicle in this area and damaged the door handle while attempting to enter the vehicle. The damage was estimated at $200, but nothing from the vehicle was missing.
