6 Gamma Crescent hopeful, Confident in intramural ComeBaCk A fter reaching the finals in IM softball last year, the team came in with high hopes this season. Unfortunately, we did not have similar success. We hope next year brings us better luck. ΑΓΡ didn't have an IM football team last year, so there were a lot of question marks coming to the season. After losing the first game, the team rebounded to win four straight games and made it to playoffs. Led by an overload of talent at the receiver position, we'll see if the team can make a push for the title. The IM volleyball team finished with a winning record, but unfortunately didn't make it into the playoffs. Half the team will have graduated by next season, so we'll see if the new guys can step up next year. In the coming spring semester, we have a lot of confidence in our basketball and soccer teams. The basketball team brings back a lot of talent, as well as guys who played last year or were injured last year, and some great new brothers. The soccer team made the finals this year, and even though a couple key players graduated, there are still plenty of great players. We had a successful Homecoming with the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority and had our annual hayride. This is an event where we take a hayride through the mountains to a bonfire site. At this site, we have live country music, s'mores, hot cider, and plenty of barbecue. Now we are all looking forward to our next paired event, Greek Sing. Last year, we placed second, but we hope with the help of the Delta Gamma sorority we can win first this year!
