Anchored in Excellence
F
or more than 100 years, the Epsilon Chapter of Delta Gamma has
been at the heart of Greek life at The Ohio State University. From
our founding to the present, our proud history speaks for itself through
high academic achievement and leadership within the community and
University. With more than 2,500 initiates, Epsilon has nurtured and
sustained women during some of the most formative years of their lives,
cultivating lasting friendships in the process. As alumnae, we can trace
many of our best college memories back to our Delta Gamma experience.
While there may be some differences in today's chapter compared to the
one you knew, there is an unbroken chain of Epsilon members at OSU.
More than ever, sororities play a significant role in the development of
young women and this growth is crucial in today's competitive world.
In addition to the values taught by our sisterhood, we acquired valuable
assets, which include leadership skills, organizational skills, social skills,
teamwork, and character. Oftentimes, these traits have been integral to our
personal success and helped make us the women we are today.
Our chapter house at 131 E. 15th Avenue is clearly the focus of
undergraduate life for Epsilon. It has been a home away from home for
hundreds of young women and a classroom where our sisters have learned
friendship, personal development, leadership, and service. However, if we
wish for Delta Gamma to continue its strong presence on the Ohio State
campus, we must ensure that we are providing a competitive facility that
accommodates the needs of our growing undergraduate chapter.
Epsilon is a strong chapter today and reflects the richness of our proud
history. We pride ourselves on being outstanding leaders. As alumnae, we
have been entrusted with perpetuating a tradition of excellence and giving
our time, energy, and resources to assist the next generation. Now is the
time to secure our future.
