After more 30 years as an English teacher, she retired and lives with her husband, Joe, in San Clemente, California. Delta Upsilon showed Janice the importance of sisterhood, camaraderie, good friends, and that there are good people no matter where you go. She highlights that there are so many more opportunities for women in higher education now and encourages current Sigma Kappa's to get a strong education.
