The members of Beta Eta spent the Greek Week service day helping out at Lion's Club Park. PRIDE IN OUR PAST, SECURING OUR FUTURE 3 BETA ETA EXCELS ON CAMPUS Chapter Wins TKE National Tournament I t is an exciting time to be a TKE at MS&T and I have the honor to announce another year of growth. We recruited one of the biggest new member classes in recent history, and I believe that the variety of personalities that they bring to our Chapter will help us continue to succeed and strive for excellence. We would like to thank our alumni for your support and recruitment recommendations which played a significant role in allowing Beta Eta to welcome a fall class of 14 outstanding men. The future of our Chapter looks very promising and we are look forward to excelling in academics, campus involvement, and philanthropy. Beta Eta Wins TNT Trophy Third Year in a Row At the beginning of the semester, we had a visit with representatives from TKE national, and they once again congratulated us on winning the TNT Trophy. We spent the weekend with John F. Eash '75, BH536 and several other alumni at his cabin. The nationals representatives were thoroughly impressed with the involvement of our alumni and all our Chapter has accomplished. They are excited to see where we will go from here. TKE Undefeated in Intramural Softball This year, Beta Eta placed eighth in Greek Week. While we were hoping for a top three finish, we were happy with our improvement. It was wonderful to see the members excited to compete and proud to be a part of Tau Kappa Epsilon. We were most successful in intramurals, having an undefeated season in softball. Undergraduates and Alumni Connect at Homecoming We were excited to have all of our alumni back for Homecoming on October 24. It is one of my favorite times of the year because it's a great opportunity to connect with our alumni. The new members were especially eager to meet their fellow Fraters and hear all of the stories from past decades at Beta Eta. Alumni Involvement Key to Beta Eta Success Lastly, thank you to our alumni for all the support you provide. We truly appreciate and know that we have the best alumni involvement of any TKE Chapter. At Conclave this summer, we made connections with TKEs from all over the nation and learned ways to improve our chapter and brotherhood. Other Chapters asked us how we manage to have such involved alumni. We know we would not be as successful as we are without your support. As always, the Beta Eta Chapter House is open to our alumni. We hope you will stop by and see all of the great things our undergraduates are doing.
