The month kicks o• with the Downtown merchant Holiday Open House, running from Friday, November 6th to Saturday, November 14th. Stop into participating Downtown merchants to take advantage of special savings and get a head start on your Holiday shopping. This month is full of patriotism, with many events Downtown centered around Veterans Day. The annual Veterans Day Parade will take place Downtown on Saturday, November 7th. This year's theme is "Honoring Women Who Have Served Our Nation." Following the parade, stick around for the City of Faye• eville's Veterans Day Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. in Veterans Park. Help Faye• eville honor those men and women who have served and do serve bravely in our Armed Forces. The Faye• eville Area Transportation and Local History Museum will also be hosting a Veterans Day Car Show, coinciding with the ceremony, from noon-3 p.m. Visitors are invited to explore the museum grounds, which will be packed with antique, vintage, and late-model customized cars. Chow Down Downtown, formerly the Small Plate Crawl, will be in full swing starting Wednesday, November 11th. Always a crowd favorite, this crawl allows participants to hop from restaurant to restaurant tasting delicious, unique small plates that feature dishes from all around the world. Stop in Downtown between November 11-13th to get in on the action. Who knows, you might just fi nd your new favorite restaurant!
