CORNINGCHAMBER Treat Street set for Friday a ernoon ANDERSON Sierra Pacific Industries announced Oct. 21 that Aaron Sulzer had been promoted to the po- sition of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The appointment comes after an extensive internal and external search to fill the position, and is a key component of SPI's overall management reposition- ing to accommodate the accelerated growth of the company. Sulzer will over- see SPI's lumber, millwork, and fiber sales as well as transportation. Sulzer has more than 15 years of experience in the wood products industry, and has worked for SPI for nine years, most recently as manager of the Struc- tural Lumber sales group. Prior to working for SPI, he held lumber sales po- sitions at Blue Linx Cor- poration, Burns Lumber Company and Precision Pine & Timber. Through- out his career, he has built a reputation based on in- tegrity and a deep under- standing of lumber man- ufacturing, sales, and the distribution processes. "We are very pleased to promote Aaron to this position" said SPI Presi- dent George Emmerson. "He has earned this pro- motion though his dedica- tion and proven ability to grow our Structural Lum- ber sales as group man- ager. We look forward to even greater overall sales growth under Aaron's leadership." Sierra Pacific Industries is a third-generation, fam- ily-owned forest products company based in Ander- son.
