Four Students were awarded the $1,000 scholarships this year. Frank Lewis Brewer Memorial Schol- arship to South Central High School's Junior ROTC Cadet Watcharin Saenghian. Charles R. Sumerlin is seen here, left, presenting the scholarship. The $1,000 award was established by the lodge three years ago when Brewer persuaded the lodge to show their support of ROTC at the six high schools in Pitt County.
