Delta Upsilon Continues the Tradition of Success MISSOURI CHAPTER NAMED TOP ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Nine undergraduate members attended the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity (DUIF) Leadership Institute July 30 to August 2 in Atlanta, Ga. Three alumni members were also in attendance. The Missouri Alumni Association was recognized as the top alumni organization for the past year. CHAPTER REORGANIZATION UPDATE We continue to work with DUIF and the alumni board toward completion of our reorganization plan. This fall, we will be one of several DU chapters who pilot the new eight-week associate member program. RECRUITMENT Our summer recruitment program resulted in the signing of 33 new associate members. The average GPA was 3.65. The average ACT score was 28.5, compared to the University average of 26. Twelve of the members were Bright Flight Scholars or the equivalent with an ACT score of 31 or greater. PARENT ORIENTATION The semi-annual new parent orientation was held at the Mizzou Student Center on August 21. The associate member pinning ceremony was held at the conclusion of the meeting and guests were then invited to tour and have lunch at the new chapter house. FALL EVENTS This fall has been packed with activities! Homecoming was on October 10. We were partnered with Tri Delta and Kappa Sigma for this year's activities. Additionally, initiation was on Sunday, October 18. We enjoyed seeing familiar faces at both of these events.
