I believe these employees retire at about two thirds of their several highest years' salary. I believe this is a lifetime pension. This reverses Mr. Chatas's plan to become an executive of the Australian company, which paid $483 million for the Enterprise's parking operations. It was reported in the Dispatch that an 85-year- old former football manager and Air Force pilot, Dick Luckay, received notice from the Buckeye Club that he was losing his seats in the Varsity O football section to make room for current players. The move was couched as "exciting changes." He now gets seats according to his "priority points." Head for the man cave, Dick. Athletic Director Gene Smith announced that the Enterprise would now sell beer and wine at football games, but only in the suites and to Buckeye Club ticketholders (4% of the stadium). The proffered reason was that they needed the money. CHAPTER ETERNAL Bob Gutches '47, age 88, passed away June 15. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. He graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1945, where he was captain of the track team. He served in the U.S. Navy and then graduated from OSU. Bob was a realtor, a tennis player, a Mason, and a huge Buckeye fan. His family owned and operated the Mount Air Pool and Golf Club just north of Worthington on S.R. 35. The pool was spring fed (I can attest). Bob was a regular at Friday lunches and is missed. Thomas B. Meek Jr '47 passed away peacefully September 10. LET US HEAR FROM YOU! Share your personal, professional, and family news with us, and we'll print it in the alumni news section of The Buckeye Phi Psi! Are you planning a get-together or pledge class reunion? Let us know that as well. You don't need a special form; just jot down a few words about yourself and send to Phi Kappa Psi, Ohio Delta Company, 47 East 16th Ave., Columbus, OH 43201 or via e-mail to fahey252@gmail.com. We hope to hear from you soon! Strong Brotherhood, GPA, and Philanthropic Efforts Keep Ohio Delta Progressing hio Delta has made an amazing amount of progress over the past couple of years. We have been actively involved in cutting down the risk involved on campus and during parties. We recently had Matt Kifle from Nationals come and give a presentation on how to make our social life and our campus a safer place. We have already started implementing changes in the way we do things to better emulate the values we strive for as Phi Psis. Philanthropy We have been going weekly to the Boys and Girls Club to spend time with kids. We are also planning a Boys and Girls Club field day where we take the kids out and play football, soccer, and various games with them. We are also participating in an ALS Walk for the Cure in downtown Columbus. Second Highest GPA Our average GPA is 3.25, which the second highest out of any IFC Fraternity on campus. Our goal is to eventually become the highest GPA on campus. With the help of our hard-working executive board, this is a very realistic goal. I have never seen our brotherhood so strong, at least since I have been here. We have come together as a unit of men more than I have ever seen. I am really proud of our guys in how respectful they are toward women and how well we are doing in the classroom. We are certainly moving in the right direction, and I am very optimistic about the future. We invite you to come back to the Chapter House and meet with the Chapter this fall. Fraternally, Austin Manna '13 Chapter President austinmanna46@gmail.com O Members enjoy having alumni come back and speak at the Chapter House.
